It's A Wrap

Well, not quite.  But at least there's a good-sized dent in the stack of Things To Be Wrapped now, which is an improvement.

My ongoing experiment has been a reasonable success so far...getting my holiday stuff done early has made me somewhat less of a crabby bitch this month (December is not usually a good month for me.)  My new Garmin came in over the weekend, the replacement for the one that fell off the cliff and my big Christmas present, and I actually had time to go out and play around with it a little today!  I have a little more shopping and a lot more wrapping to do, and some baking, and some cooking (breathe in...breathe out...) but it will all get done.  And I will NOT allow myself to end up in the nuthouse trying to do it all, either.  That's my gift to myself!

  1. I tell ya, being an anti-procrastinator is the BEST. Soooo much less stress on ourselves.

AT the job interview they were asking all these questions that showed they're accustomed to working with unorganized people who put things off and I didn't know quite how to convey how awesome I am in these areas and how that makes things less stressful for all of us.

Glad the strategy is working for ya!

  2. So far, so good. BTW, can't wait to hear about that job...everything is crossed for you!!

    1. Thanks! She called AGAIN today, just to say that the references are back in.

Either she and I are establishing some kind of BFF codependency or she's really gunning for me. She does not make the choice, but she facilitates. I have a strong gut positive feeling for her and I would like to think she's not leading me on.

She told my friend/former supervisor in Ireland that they want to make a decision by the end of the week. So ...

    2. Glad to hear it! At least you will know soon (hopefully.)

I love comments...please share yours!

Preview, Part 2

(Or maybe this should have been part 1 since it will happen first.) We dropped Thing One off at his first sleepaway soccer camp on Saturda...
